In order to promote international students to have an in-depth understanding of Chinese tea culture and feel the unique charm of intangible cultural heritage skills, on April 19, the School of International Education organized international students to go to Panzhou Wumengfeng Tea Co., Ltd. to carry out tea culture experience activities. In the Wumeng Peak Tea Garden at an altitude of 2,380 meters, under the guidance of the tea garden master, international students learn to pick tender tea, experience traditional tea-making techniques such as spreading green, rolling and drying, and feel the delicate balance between the temperature of the iron pot and the strength of the palm by hand. The tea master also showed the students the traditional tea brewing process, explained the knowledge of tea art, and analyzed the flavor of spring tea.
Hassan, an international student, said that he would like to thank the teachers of the school for leading everyone to see the beautiful tea plantations in China, experience the processing of Chinese tea and the art of tea tasting, which not only learned rich knowledge of tea culture, but also an unforgettable experience and deepened their understanding of Chinese culture.
This activity extended the classroom to the outdoors, using the immersive tea culture experience as a bridge to allow international students to experience the unique charm and profound heritage of Chinese tea culture, and injected new elements into the cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
